Hey guys,
I am new to the forum and I was wondering what are your thoughts on Lieb speed? I am looking to grab their matte frame covers and their matte subframe covers but also looking at a couple other carbon manufacturers such as ilmberger, full six etc.... Also what is the usual wait time to get parts through US customs? I have been looking for US dealers that hopefully had them but came up empty handed while ordering my matte BST rapid tek's. Any input would help greatly as like everyone else I'm impatient and wanted my parts yesterday... Lol

Thanks,
Jon

I had mine about ten days from when I placed the order. They are very nice and from what I see they are the only company that doesn't ignore the little upper frame extension. I would definitely recommend.

Having said that, I haven't installed them yet so can't speak to fitment. Seem to have very nice attention to detail. Heat shields and inner padding, but seems to take 14 hours to set the glue. Looking forward to installing when I have some time.

I have their matte frame covers on my Speciale. I do not remember how quickly they arrived but remember thinking it was fast. The fit perfect and really liked how they attach to the bike. I will try to load some pics later. I would recommend them as they complement the look nicely.

Lieb manufacturers very high quality carbon with excellent finish. I've always been impressed with their products.

After doing some research and looking at other brands I decided to order the Lieb speed frame and subframe covers. I couldn't find another company that made subframe cover that looks like the beautiful design of Lieb. They should fit nicely with the existing matte carbon and look even better once my matte bst rapid teks come in.

Only Lieb carbon for me. They fit better than some DP products. Seen here is the front frame cover and the subframe cover replacement.

Those are better than the shift-tech I got, which didn't even cover the top part of the frame.. The whole point of the cover is to.. ya know, "cover". Kinda irritated on that one.

I for one appreciate that you let others here know what to avoid. In the past what I've done with less than perfect parts is to nearly give them away to a friend that isn't as picky.

Most, if not all, of Shift-Tech carbon is sourced from Lieb. Contact Guido, maybe he'll help you out.

I didn't notice the subframe covers when I was looking these up. That looks great. I need to grab a set. Do you find they help with the heat since they have that heat shielding in them? I feel like I get the most transferred from my thighs through the subframe.

To be honest, I don't feel a difference with the heat. Still burns.

Yup. Lieb's quality is so much superior than their current supplier.

But the good thing is now we can buy directly from Lieb.

I'll second this 100%, i have his frame covers & will be getting the hugger & front fender (when it's produced) off him at the very least.
