Team Italia looks nice !
Looking forward for the first pics with this cover installed on a Pani :)

Installed the race seat yesterday, and am in love with it. Stock seat back in box forever.

This could be it!! I'm fine with std seat comfort but just need a cover to stop the sliding. Contacted Sargent seats today and they're sending me a bunch of samples to choose from. They estimate $135 to recover seat.
Whats the score with these Luimoto ones? Do they slip over the standard seat or do you have to get the original removed and this stitched on? Or do you send your seat to Luimoto? Apologies if I didn't do enough reading on they're website!

Yea, it looks pretty good. I'm diggin the Italia one as well..

As per their site...

Looks like you can either remove the factory cover and install the new cover in it's place with a staple gun or even put the new cover over the existing one.

They say they come with detailed bike specific instructions to install it.

Prolly not too difficult from the looks of it.

Off their Site

Damn, I thought it would be an entire seat complete with foam/gel/etc. Instead it's a frigging seat condom. Nice looking piece of gear but wish they made an entire seat for sale.

Does your product come with the whole seat?

We do not sell the entire seat unit with foam. We design and manufacture a sewn seat cover fabric which is to be installed over your OEM seat using a staple gun. Below is an example of our actual product and packaging.

that's a bit much for a seat cover d-i-y.

but they look really really nice.

earlier last month, i contact sargent and they said they had nothing yet. i'd rather choose something and then send my seat to them for a total redo....even if it's $350. gulf coast, if you don't mind starting a sargent seat thread later with details and pics if you have it done up, i also contacted corbin but haven't heard back yet.

I just purchased one. They have excellent customer service and even though it is only a cover the quality is very good. I purchased one for my Diavel and had to professional installed for 50 bucks. Looked very good. Might be a good time to consider some gel as well.

Same here, I put the stock seat in the box after I bought the DP comfort seat. But again I felt the stock is good for track use and with this new skin might make the feel better in term of not being so slippery. Anyway is more a cosmetic thing for those including myself to make our bike more sexy, is like buying lingerie for your GF and wife..: )

Will do. Not exactly sure what they're supposed to be sending me but I'll let you all know what I find.
Funny I tried calling Corbin several times and couldn't get any reply either?

I've got their seat cover on my R1 and am pleased with the quality. Overpriced however but easy to self install.

Thanks for the link

For the pilot seat, as everyone i fitted another one than the stock "fakir" thing that made you believe you got lost yesterday night in the backroom of a gay bar...

But the passenger one is just perfect. Finally no need to choose between having a sexy bike ass or a sexy ass on the bike ;-)

I placed my order right after this post.. got a email and DHL tracking from them, they will send out the product in a week time.
