LUIMOTO Seat Cover for 1199 is available

I have their cover on my RSV4 and really like the feel. I had a local shop here install only $20. You could also have the installer add memory foam for comfort.
 
The Illuminati ?

Everytime I see the name of this seat I think of Tom Hanks Film Angels & Demons and the Illuminati and their special wicked powers. ANything similar between the two at all? :mad:

So far shipping is very slooooooow. I am told they don't begin production until purchased. So I'm still waiting for tracking number.
 
So far so good, 6 days after ordering it has been shipped to me. Only 5000 miles and some customs clearance to go now ;-)

Not keen on the 1199 logo on the seat cover,looks like a custom head restraint,if ya didnt know it was on a bike.:D Think i"ll give my race seat another go. Andy reckons it squashes down. I nearly fell over with my bike in the dealer car park when taking delivery, just because of the added seat height. I"d ridden the demo bike a few days earlier with stock seat no problem and nearly got caught out getting on mine. Still like the stock seat feeling of planting you in the bike. If my race seat dont squash down to something close to stocker then it"s getting fleabayed.

To spend the money to buy the stapler I would need, I figured I would just have a local upholstery guy do it. They did it while I wanted, 35 bucks. I went right over the stock seat. A great way would have been to replace the padding with a jell but the stock seat does not bother me like some.
 
I was also thinking that it makes more sense to have a local upholstery shop do the work vs buying the type of stapler required for a one time job.
 
Maybe it's the pics but the seat look sorta grey. Are you really really happy with the seat? Is it striking and beautiful to you? Looks really nice on the website I'm just concerned not so much in person. I like the flag and the 1199 doesn't bother me but for $160 plus install, it's really gotta pop. Wondering how you feel about it. For me, the comfort seat is really nice looking but as some say, it's kinda tall. I'm still on the fence with Luimoto. Thanks.
 
Ordered one...should help from sliding around under hard braking, I guess. Looks kind of nice also
 
I am rocking the race seat now but like the stock seat because its shorter in height.. I like the seat to be as low as possible..I'll prolly grab this cover to pimp my stock one out.

I could do without the "1199" on it though.
