An easy mod would be to buy an off cut of Alcantara from Ebay maybe and recover the stock seat. This would stop sliding around and keep the profile of the bike right and its a luxurious quality material used a lot on car seats,so is durable too. An upholsterer may even have some lying around and could do the job in one go. Time to go e"baying

alcantera is great stuff, holds up well and looks like suede. It's not widely available in the US.
