For Sale Magnetic oil drain bolts TITANIUM are back

Is there any way to incorporate the effect of a magnetic drain plug with something like a stahlbus quick drain valve? So far that thing has made oil changes a breeze but I don’t have a magnet collecting metal in the sump

Technically, you could have really strong magnets on the oil sump outside and remove them when you flush the oil

Yes, can’t ship next week, but good until 12/15
Would be interested in 5 pieces, but I’m wondering when you meant N42 being high temp, what is the specific grade? N42, N42M, N42H, N42SH, UH, EH, AH? Because the base N42 max operating temp is rated @ 80C

Would love to find out. Thank you

Did a bulk order on McMaster

Pm me your addy and i send you one in a letter at no cost
After christmas though

Wanted to follow up, got the drain bolt today, the quality is excellent and the packaging of shielding the magnet to isolate from shipping bag sticking to any metal surface while in the mail was creative. Thank you Phl.

thanks! Yes with other packaging there has been the issue of them getting stuck along the way.

this is an economical solution and has worked well so far.

Agree with this, thank you @Phl got my 2 bolts fast and liked the (ceramic?) Insulator packaging too.

Was wondering how hard the two would repel each other, cut the tape, then… sproing!! 😂

BTW though I read the magnets are held in with a set screw but not seeing it? No biggie they are great quality, thanks again!

It’s just a pvc coupling.

The set screw is in there, secured with thread lock.

One actually worked itself out, guess it might not have been enough cure time. Now i am making sure all bolts sent have the screw firmly in position

You can take the magnet out and you’ll see the set screw within the head of the bolt, it what holds the magnet in place.👍🏻
