Yeah Motogp may be without Americans for 2013. Val and Crutchlow at Ducati, Lorenzo and Dovi or Bradl at Yamaha and Dani and Marquez at Honda.

Very interesting. Might be good for Ducati if they could continue and sort things out.
No Americans? WTH bro?

Val and Crutchlow at Ducati will be mega.

Ducati need to pull there finger out and give Rossi a bike he can actually ride.

MotoGP needs Rossi not the other way around.

Hey, all I'm saying is it could happen. :) Ducati has already made Crutchlow an offer and if Rossi stays that leaves Hayden without a ride. And we all know the last two seasons for Spies haven't been great.

LMAO...that sounds about right.
Don't get me wrong, I like Val but would like very much to see Nicky remain with Ducati also.

Yeah, I'm sure anything can happen. It's all about the $$$. I just like Hayden and have been following him since his AMA days.

you cant be serious, Rossi is a bust and the most over rated rider in moto gp. Nicky has outperformed him on the same exact bike. ducati has bent over backward to try and accommodate him and nothing. Let rossi go keep hayden and get clutchlow.

I think you are definitly from The States... Rossi is god in Europe... I was last week in Assen and 90% of THE people wear a shirt from Rossi, the other 10% is for the rest...

Its maybe hard but its the thruth...

Sad to see a motorcyle racing team try harder on their marketing campaign than actually trying to win races. I am sure they would put britney spears on the ducati as long as it sells seats and t shirts.

Rossi has been winning world championships since 1997. 9 world champions to his name, 7 in the premier class including in 500cc. Most victories all time in the premier class, second most among all classes in GP (second only to Agostini). Is it possible to overrate a rider with credentials like those?

Hayden has been outperforming him on the bike lately though. Too bad commercially it wouldn't make sense to keep Hayden though. I personally think both Hayden and Rossi have a championship left in them if they can get the bike sorted.

I think rossi has a championship left with another manufacturer but hayden is past due. He might be able to win a race or two but with Lorenzo and Stoner up there I dont see him getting another title.

i am from the states and what people wear in the stands makes no difference. Yao ming was the highest vote getter in nba all star history does that mean he was the best player in the nba at that time NO. Dont talk to me about championships in 1997 who cares what happened in 1997. Talk to me about now are all those people wearing 46 shirts in the stands happy with 10th place finishes? if the question were who is the best marketed rider hands down its rossi. the question is who will bring championships and as of NOW not yesteryear its NOT ROSSI

The loss of Stoner was a big mistake for them- I'm willing to bet he would have won races on the bike......he's the fastest rider in the world right now!

*roll eyes*, ok. I guess you missed the part where Rossi's last championship was 2009. So in your informed opinion, someone who has not won a championship is a better bet? Crutchlow shows promise, but he's not done anything yet, period. Spies also showed promise and he's having a disappointing year. And wtf does Yao Ming have to do with anything?

I guess what mark419ny is saying is "what have you done for me lately"? In Rossi's case that answer would be "Nothing". :( I agree letting Stoner go was a bad bad mistake but putting Italy's favorite son on Italian bike was hard to resist. ;) Personally I don't think adding Crutchlow in place of Hayden buys them anything? He may run closer to the front but still won't be competing for wins or the podiums and certainly Hayden has more marketing value than Crutchlow in the states.

I understand what he's saying, I just don't agree. I think if you've won a championship within the last 3 years - you've done something lately (only Stoner and Lorenzo can say they're more current than him). Hayden hasn't won in a long time. Don't get me wrong here, I'm a Hayden fan, but to say Ducati should keep him over Rossi is simply . . . ridiculous. Crutchlow is promising at best right now. But so was Spies, and that hasn't really worked out, and Spies has actually won a MotoGP race. In Rossi, you have a proven champ.
