I think if Hayden was on a Yamaha or Honda he would have won by now as well. Unfortunately, for Hayden he's always played second fiddle his entire time in MotogGP. So for all the work he puts in the team is still going to build the bike to the specs of the primary rider Rossi (twice), Stoner and Pedrosa. He's no Rossi agreed but still capable of winning if given and decent bike.
I think they should keep them both and if Rossi leaves replace him with Crutchlow. However, we should find out real soon as seats are filling up quickly. Reportedly the Crutchlow Ducati deal has an expiration date of tomorrow and with the Audi/Ducati purchase being final Ducati is out of excuses for Hayden.
