Guys I just picked up a media player or blue tooth controller that is a plug in play for the v4. I'm told it goes in under the wind screen behind the gage cluster. Will this thing make it so I can control my I phone from the handle bars switches? I did hear it would show the name of whose calling me on the dash but I don't know what else it will get you do. I'm hoping I can switch songs and adjust phone volume?

Hi. you can serve your media player. You see who calls you or even missed calls. You can also read your SMS. You have to download the app Ducati Link. Unfortunately you can not show the navigation.

I used to use the Ducati Link with my 2016 Pikes Peak and was a horrendous app. When I was able to get connected I could get location, speed and lean angle and that was kind of cool. Did the app improve? Were you able to connect your V4 to the app to get these info? The app says "all models" and Only lists Multistrada models. *♂️
I've heard conflicting stories about other bikes being able to use the app... Like the xDiavel S with the infotainment setup.

The app connects easily with the box. The data mentioned here can also be read in the app. I always had the hope that you can read the navigation commands in the display. Unfortunately that does not work.

I'm really just wanting the ability to control the music on my I phone and the volume

Auco I took the bike apart tonight and can't find the plug that the blue tooth box plugs into? I see you have it in your photo but where is it coming from? I've looked at all the wires and see nothing for it to plug into? I only see the diagnostic plug that is capped off.

Looking at your photos you took off the black trim part that is at the bottom of the windshield with the gage cluster just behind it. Is it behind there?

I found the plug and hooked it up BUT there is no Blue tooth in the setting screen? Auco did you have to do anything more than just plug the media box in?

Yes, you have to get the dealership to enable it on the bike. My guys didn't charge me because they were looking at the bike for stalling issues at the time. I use my Bluetooth with a android phone and cardo packtalk bold. I haven't been able to get the volume buttons to work on the dash but thats ok because I can use the wheel or voice commands with the cardo.

Good luck..

yes ...... your dealer must unlock the Bluetooth box via diagnostic device

I got my dealer to enable the blue tooth so I can now control the start and stop of the music on my I phone but like you I can't get the volume to work?? I don't have the cardo. Has anyone figured it out yet?
