Hi.
You have to reload stock map first with upmap device. It won't connect "upmapped" ecu.
But in this thread others say that you can't reset service light with melco.
I didn't even try it when my light was lit. Didn't want to hassle stock map with upmap.

Hello guys. I also applied for a license to use melco on my v4s.

For remove the annual service warning light simply need to change the dashboard date.

There are a number of bikes that can connect but have no ability to do anything except see things. My hyper 821 is one of the bikes that have this issue. I'm told that the guy who runs this is currently working at making more functions work on more bikes. I offered to donate monies to help push things along but I didn't get anywhere. After obtaining the license I was able to connect, see and delete stored codes but only one time. I was told by the main guy to try and reinstall the license. Another note, there is a certain procedure to connect and actually see things. There are a couple YouTube videos that show how. Plug into USB then into bike port, then open the software(when you get the license you have to send it from the email to the melcodiag folder. This was not explained anywhere when I was messing with it) one thing highlighted (com port I think)and a couple other things checked then turn the bike on. About a min later you will see stuff happen. There are numerous small boxes to check to monitor stuff. Not sure if any of that is helpful but it is what I have learned so far.
When I was able to connect and delete codes I was also able to do tests on specific parts like turning the fans on and what not with the bike off and key on. All that being said, the maintenance reset and the TPS reset isn't available for my bike yet and it is my understanding that is the case for all the modern Pani & V4 bikes.

Hello guys. Today I tried the various melcodiag functions on the Panigale V4s.

As for the active tests it seems to work, I tried to turn on the fan.

Reading the DTCs did not detect any errors, although I should have had a DRL fault because some cold starts, the DRL light does not turn on.

I don't have the reminder service active yet but I still tried to do a reset service but I didn't get any results.
The annual service reminder will be active in June and I will try to reset.

I look that Melcodiag cannot read the ECU type and Hardware version.
Also the mileage reading is wrong, I'm at 7200km.

with my bluetooth dongle.
win10 did a port forwarding for me. to com8.
thats nice.

I connected the diagnosis cable to the sfv4 of my friend. We used the melcodiag software to diagnose the bike.
The software was able to test basic functions like fans etc
But reading out the trouble codes was not possible.
It found the Ecus but wasnt able to read the trouble codes.
We wanted to activate the heated grips so I clicked on activate heated grips.
The heated grips appeared in the dash
WHILE the diagnosis was running we started the engine
We blocked the exhaust with some cardboard because it was late.
Suddenly the dash turned black
We turned the bike off
The bike doesnt start since then
No crank of the motor no starter
Ignition runs fine

I own a Panigale V4S 2021. I am writing to let everyone know that MelcoDiag reset the Oil reminds milage and the service date to one year in advance

It is essential to buy the correct OBD2 with the correct chipset. Amazon sells them. Around $30
I also bought the Euro 6 pin to obd cable from Amazon $10

This is great software and save me a $90 Ducati service reset and a bunch of time. If you have questions feel to contact me
