Tell Keith I said hi! That's Cycles128!
Don't think about it too long. Strike while the iron is hot and just buy it.
I think we should start and old farts club. I can be founding member.
Nothing beats having something powerful between your legs.
Change the gearing
Go up 2T or 3T in the rear . Stock is 39 , try for 41 or 42(my preference)
This will make traffic more tolerable whilst adding a bit more surge in the lower gears..
They lied.
It set up for, two up.
Yes get sag set straight away, before riding anymore. YOu may need a new rear spring.
At 190lbs I needed to loosen the rear and tighten the front some .
Next set your tire pressure, I like 32/31 stock from the dealer it is way to high.
Tech had me on the bike and measured sag on the front and rear, did not make any adjustments, said he got it just right.
Is that 32psi on the front and 31psi on the rear ?
Yes 32f 31r
If he didnt make any adjustments, I doubt its right. It couldnt be.
Get a friend and measure CORRECTLY for 35mm front ISH and 30MM rear ISH.
Make sure you top out the suspension for your first measurement.
It is on progressive, they did that free of charge, part of setting the bike up for me.If the suspension is stiff set it to progressive P rather then the other setting don't let them charge you
I would join, but can you maybe name it something else ? lol.
It's called "FOG" (F'kning Old Guys). I'm a charter member. You're in if you're on the far side of 60.
Unless you are going to track the bike, just ride the ....... thing (yes, we can say that on this forum) the way it is until you decide what you don't like about it. Forums have a way of making a lot of people unhappy with their bikes when they would not have been if they had never found the forum.

Congrats and enjoy. Stomp grip with stock R seat is better for me; then I can use my knees on hard braking yet slide left to right on the seat nice and smoothly.
