So I'm finding the Pani to be the most user friendly Super Bike that Ducati has ever done-and really curious what type of Mileage you guys are clocking???
I'm on a base '12 with about 16k and no plans to stop anytime soon!:D:D:D

Antihero probably has the most at over 20k. Don't know the exact number but it's up there.

Only 2300 here in a year of ownership.

Last time I asked Dennis it was close to 28000....:) All being well it will be over 50k at the end of his round the world trip..

About 7,500 miles here in the first year of ownership. Absolutely love this bike.

2800 miles since August last year.... just rode my Lil cuzzins r6 and realized my bike feels and handles 10x better I agree this is the best ducati I have ever ridden aside from the fact that when you turn the bike off it doesn't ....... start when it's hotttttt!!!! Extremely embarrassing

You wasted $30k on that POS? Can't even start your bike n we gotta sit around n wait for you til you figure out how to turn on your Italian chick? HA! :)

Just over 1,500 in a year of owning it but I spend 8 months a year overseas so its really 1500 miles in about 4 months.

I'm at 9400 Kms in under 2 years, with some deliberate breaks(to ride the Streetfighter) and to keep the mileage down on the 1199. And also weeks of endless bad weather that weren't good for riding.

The mileage I've put on the Streetfighter in that time is around 16,000 Kms. So you could say that if I was a 1 bike person that 16,000 Kms would've gone onto the 1199 as well.

9,000 miles...purchased december last year...so 5-6 months haha...i ride a lot. im addicted. cant help it. not a single issue other than the hot start issue every now and then, and my kickstand fell off...locktite and new bolts, good to go. oh, and tons of rear tires...

When this happens I open the throttle a little while pressing the stater button and it starts right up

i heard removing the charcoal canister thing helps this? if this is true i need to remove mine especially for the summer here in Florida...i dont want this happening a bunch...

Charcoal canister removal does not help this.

Also quack stated in another thread that givin it some throttle while pressing the starter may foul up your injectors. Not certain about that but I wouldn't doubt it either.

Now back on topic.

Prior to ducati taking a look they said that holding the start and blipping the throttle fouled out the injectors so they replaced it.... Bike functions fine in cold weather but when weather and bike is warm get ready to just linger around

Charcoal canister removal solved the hot start issues on my bike. I haven't had a single issue with starting since I removed the canister.
