Charcoal canister removal solved the hot start issues on my bike. I haven't had a single issue with starting since I removed the canister.

I get a hot start here and there. Mostly on very hot days when the bike is smoking hot and i do a quick stop and shut bike down. If I go back withing 15 to 2o mins and attempt to start, I get a hot start. If the bike sits for about 30 mins I don't have the issue. Removing the canister didn't do squat for my hot start :/
Not sure. I see Sebastian at melillimoto next week for some installation of parts so I'm going to see what his expert opinion is and see if it can be resolved. As everyone says.. He is the guru of Ducati motorcycles.
i'm gonna do the gas cap trick for now if it works for you. Never thought of doing that. Ill send you a PM 92gta if he has a solution to the problem.

thats where i got mine from and my work done! i cant comment on anyone else's expertise but he certainly knows his ....!!! tell him Art said hey! lol
well i do all my own stuff but i mean my warranty and major service stuff...
It almost seems like anyone with a Ducati knows who Sebastian is. Word is this man can do some serious .... when it comes to motor work.
