Misfiring

Well I have a little misfiring and some hesitation at certain rpms...7000 to 8000

I had Ducati look over the ECU and the map everything seems okay there. I'm waiting for the master tech to get back from vacation to look at it, but was wondering if there were any known mechanical issues that may cause this.

Or have people experienced this and had it only be a up map problem.

happening only at a certain rev range leads me to think it should rather be electronics / mapping related.

...it could be any number of things...if you're near the bike, check the fuse box, you might figure it out on your own

I agree with everything from above.

Bad gas would be the easy fix. TPS possibly?

I'd start with draining the tank, and putting some fresh gas in the bike.

I know it's not a car, but my car started misfiring and it was determined to be bad gas. Some of these gas stations use a lot of ethanol

Well my ECU and map are fine. Turned out to be a fouled plug. Replacing both. Thanks guys.
