Guys my bike 1299 was running great suddenly it seems to be running on only one cylinder ?
bad miss at low rpm but I managed to get it home by keeping revs up, no alarms or dash lamps ?

any advise please

Waited for it to cool down then re started it ran it for 15 seconds, front exhaust pipe war. Rear one cold tells me noms
ark at rear cylinder? On idle on high revs it does get going ..any ideas?

Ok so finally got to the problem it was the rear map sensor, it will feel like a bad plug it’s been a frustrating week but finally found the culprit
As expected with Ducati our local dealer does not carry stock so it’s on order, quick job to replace once it gets here

Hey bud when this happened was your bike able to rev over 5k rpm? I think i am dealing with the same issue...i had no warning light on dash but the bike just running like .......limped it home and now the bike won't start

My bike suddenly went like ...., 5000 was a real challenge I got it home and then started to pull the rear plug, then outbthe blue it was ok again with new rear plug, I was not in the mood for the front plug, then a day later it happened again and it was the map sender
it’s easy to check, put on ignition pic up the centre wire using a pin on a multi meter, it uses that as the output it must read under 5 volts as you start bike it will go down this indicates map sender is ok if the output voltage is 5 v on the centre the thing is fuked
