Red Dawn... What parts did you replace during the rebuild? Thx

Motor was blueprinted. We had brand new stuff that was never fired replaced, but it is under Superstock rules. No major replacement of things, but he did some head work within rules and thinner head gaskets along with the blueprinting. TJ removed everything that was not needed also. Relocated the kill switch to where the key used to be. Toggle switch for ignition switch. Looking at some other things like map selection switch replacement. I like the CNC machined switches out there, but TJ will probably find a location inboard and away from the clip-ons. Which I would prefer.

Looking to Rexxer (Contact Dave at Redline) to get some custom mapping that hasn't really been done before. Dave and the boys are getting some cool stuff done for us and we are trying a few things. They've been awesome.

Of course, we have the typical race bolt-ons. The parts list is as follows:

Started with 2012 1199 STANDARD model...

-DP Race Seat
-DP Carbon Fiber Front Fender
-Armor Race Bodywork
-Woodcraft Rearsets
-Woodcraft Clip-ons
-Woodcraft Case Cover
-DP Folding Levers
-Full Termi system
-DP GPS unit
-DP Race Windscreen
-Ohlins TTX rear (Carr Moto)
-Ohlins 30mm Cartridges (Carr Moto)
-DP Gas Cap
-Race Air Filter (I cannot remember the brand, but has red aluminum cage if that helps know. They have a street and race version. We have the race of course)
-Speigler Brake Lines

Just haven't decided on color yet. Thinking WSBK style red and white, but am really fond of gloss black as the last few race bikes have had gloss black and I think it will make the lines stand out on the 1199. Plus, everyone does red which is really cool, but I want badass as well as beautiful. It's a great build and with someone like TJ doing it, I want him to be proud beyond the build.

Got the radiator mounted and TJ cleaned up the wiring to make it less like a tangled mess. It is amazing when sitting next to another 1199 with fairings off... It's this level of detail that I am so impressed by. He just cannot cut corners and I respect and appreciate that.

Note the beautiful job of safety wiring. I couldn't have done it better and I am VERY particular on my wiring. There isn't going to be a race org that finds something missing in terms of wired. TJ is so thorough that I will probably be seen at tech and just waved to go on by. :D

To each their own. That's why they're stickers, easily removed if I feel like it.

+1 - if I saw you coming with those stickers plus the "FEAR THIS" stickers and the naked lady silhouettes you have on the other side of the bike I'd prob run the other direction. Especially when you dismounted and removed your mohawk helmet and your jacket and I saw your collection of tribal tats, sagging jeans, two sizes too small wifebeater t-shirt and blowout hairdo.

can you post some more detailed pics of the wiring?

many thanks!

In the process of blueprinting, did some of the bluing spill on the engine, or is that your white balance screwed up? :) Did you have to make many changes after the blueprinting? And did you cc the heads? Or is that not important with only 2.

It's unanimous then..either the d-bag stickers go or you get banned from the forum. :)

Option B - you have to complete this mod.

These are some of the best pics of seen of a pani, thanks for posting!

Who's the manuf. of your rear exhaust pipe cover (under the seat area). I've not seen that before.

Does this qualify the thread to be for 1199s that are heavily modified?

Superstock race build. Complete motor tear down and build. From crate to track. Never turned the ignition on after uncrated...

From this:

Fired it up today and will be getting the race plastics mounted and drilled ready for paint...

You guys are ruthless, I took them off. I just thought it was funny, I guess I'm alone in that regard. I left my name on the windscreen, I won't take that off.

I also forgot to mention I removed the chain guard, sprocket cover, and bracket. When I can afford too, I will bet the air ducts in CF and the swing arm cover.

I'm also not sure what a blow out hair do is.

Very very nice bike ScrapperX. That black ceramic full Termi looks great, even the engine heat shields and Termi heat guards look good on your bike. Nice touch with the Red Rizoma tanks.
