so the track caused a brake problem, when he crashes it's the track or the bike , when he does bad it's the bike and when he does good it's talent and skill. I forgot the rules.

Yes, the track was a factor the data showed he was pumping them, how long have you been involved in the sport because this is a thing. When 15 random crashes occur in a race with the worlds best riders falling for no apparent reason due to weeping, yes its the track. Did you even watch the sprint? I dont think so. You are just an MM hater and thats all there is to it.

I was referring to your blaming cota for mm brake failure. mm crashed at turn 9 in jerez i believe no water there the other crashes were in like turn five or something. either way he smashed into the back of Mir which is number 500 does he get a special prize NO

there was dump patch at jerez right where mm crashed. did you watch the race at all ?

not one single announcer or even the people in mm pit knew what was causing the crashes at that time. I just re watched the video of mm crash and maybe it was a wet spot , but he seemed to tuck the front end five or six feet before the tiny little dark spot on the track . either way I don't have to love the guy or hate the guy to think he should just stop blaming the bike for all his problems . he has really slowed down the crashing this year, and the main he held second place rather than binning it. so maybe he is improving. one improvement would be to stop blaming the bike and the track every time he crashes IMO.

You must be new to the sport, MM never blames or complains i.e. puts his mistakes on outside factors. When he does point to something he's matter of fact about it. 15 crashes and its MM blaming the bike lol!

Oh look heres an actual report from the paddock, no worries I will tell them I know a guy...

Runner-up Marc Márquez had more work to do than winner Pecco Bagnaia. The brake problem that caused Márquez’s COTA crash was still there at Jerez, but less so. Basically, he brakes more aggressively than other Ducati riders, so he’s frying the brakes and his crew are fighting to keep brake temperature under control.

Well they need big wings/fins on the calipers or a brake fluid system cooler on the master cylinder. A small radiator to exchange all of the brake fluid heat. That’s what MM needs….

I have found the Oxley-Bom podcast offers some really good “inside baseball” analysis. They discuss Jerez and MM in some detail here:

Regardless of our individual biases, it’s worth considering expert analysis and opinion. Oxley and Bom both had big praise for MM, and Gigi reportedly wants him for the factory team. There are even reports that Tardozzi (previously somewhat a MM hater), is warming to the idea.

There has to be a reason these things are happening, and it’s probably not because they consider him a reckless on-track bowling ball, or a whiner who blames the bike for his mistakes.

Folks might take a step back and consider this data along with the fact that the guy on a year-old gp23 has crashed out of the lead twice, and nearly beat the reigning champ on a gp24 (a bike widely acknowledged as being further ahead of the 23 than the 23 was ahead of the 22).

If I recall correctly, the GP23 didn’t have the chatter that the 24 seems to have so the 23 should be an “easier” more predictable bike to ride at the limit. The advantage of the 24 was they’ve pushed the limit and introduced chatter. The 23 also has a season of data to pull from.

MM was able to battle Pecco for those few laps and put a valiant effort in to mess up his rhythm but ultimately the 24 and Pecco have a few tenths each lap more when ridden to perfection which made the difference. You could see that MM didn’t have the pace to stick with Pecco with 2 laps to go. Pecco threw down 2 perfect laps to break away and secure the win. GP24 has more potential but also more risk and is more at the knife edge of traction limits
