Martin is the fastest rider for sure and his race game seems to be improving. Pecco isn’t having the best year but I hope he pulls it around. If MM could fix his qualifying, he’d be in a good spot, not that he isn’t, I think he’s second in the championship. Consider he’s gotten on the podium from the 5th row in the last few races. World wide he has a huge fan base and bringing him in would only draw more people to Ducati.
 
Martin to factory Aprilia. Would be a coup for Aprilia and a slap in the face from Martin to Ducati Corse for passing him over for Bastianini. He's best friends with Aleix and the Aprilia is more than capable of winning races. Also, if he goes to Corse he'll play second fiddle to Pecco. And if Martin goes to Aprilia, he'll be the favored rider since Vinales hasn't really consistently proven himself.
 
Yeah...that dude has such a huge draw, as someone with his record should. It's really hard to dismiss that.

Post injury I think he's really changed.
 
Interesting grip panel on JM's Alpinestars suit. Hopefully this makes it to mere mortal riders.

MM wouldn’t be doing as good if the riders in the first few places weren’t so crash prone lately. The last couple of races he was coming from the 5th row to get a podium, largely based on early retirements by other riders.

And if my grandmother had wheels she'd be a bicycle..... to finish in front of MM first you have to finish.
