On any given day, Martin can be fastest, but he cant be as consistent as Pecco. Marquez is very good, but not at the same level as Martin and Pecco. Marc is just a brute on the bike, not a great sportsman or champion on equal machinery.
 
No doubt Marc is very fast/quick, but I really doubt he can be champion without crashing/eliminating Pecco and Martin. Anything can happen and Marc will definitely cause or be involved for SURE…

Oh, I forgot - while riding injured.

So even injured, he came through the field from 13th, overtaking Morbidelli and Bastianini on faster bikes, reeling in Bagnaia and Martin on faster bikes, to finish 2nd.

Martin is fast, and Bagnaia is proving himself a legitimate two time champ, but Mark is demonstrating that he’s still on another level.
 
^^^I understand this well and do not disagree. But there are no extra points awarded for plowing thru the field.

Next year the stage is set, obviously the Ducati box will have a different vibe and Pecco will be hell bent on beating Marc esp if he wins again this season. Marcs biggest opponent will once again be himself, and unfortunately that opponent tends to send him sky bound in a practice or quali. If he doesnt injure himself it will be a great season, esp if ther are some other contenders pushing hard in new seats...

Annoying thing, looks like he is struggling in right handers..... Meaning the injury is still there. I hope he recovers
 
Both 2025 riders crashed in the sprint... think Marquez rejoined. Just seems like these bikes are too much to handle once the limit is breached and they always seem surprised when it is.
 
I think the engine development has outpaced tire development in recent years. I'm sure there's a ton of talking points there, but I doubt it's anything new. There's always some issue, some problem, some drama.

As long as lap times keep dropping I don't know if it matters.

Pecco and Marc crashed for different reasons

Pecco crashed in his favorite turn after setting the fastest lap before, likely asking too much

Marc has struggled with Hard compound and crashed in first left hander after a series of rights
