Anyone know why the photographer got the shower?

I guess it's fair that we should ask Marquez for his opinion when Bastianini marquezes Martin.

Next year should be interesting. I hope Martin can stay ahead of Pecco... :) and Bastianini of Marquez

They didn't event bother to investigate it mate, that's what concerns me

Lookup post race sheet from stewards, absolutely no mention of martin/bestia incident

Meet the new bosses, just like the old bosses...

Jorge race IMHO, Bastia's pass was aggressive and just hard racing which is fine BUT, he couldnt hold his line, instead went wide which means he didnt have rights. But being a last lap overtake, Italian crowds etc I can see why Freddie didnt do anything, but he should have dropped a place.

Exactly

And Crafar explanation post race is just .... and silly

Substitute Enea with Alex Marquez and see him doing u-turn

Martin’s last 5.5 laps were an exemplar of defensive riding. Race winning move was 50/50. A bit daft of Bestia. If he could’ve pulled it off with no contact it would’ve been the pass of the season. At least it was controlled and no one went down. Martin realized discretion is the better part of valor and moved to the outside over dramatically playing up the contact. He knew the damage was done and gladly took the 20 points. Martin realized in part ferme after things cooled down that he left the door just a little open for Bestia to lunge through. No penalty was the right call.

Unfortunate for Pecco. Offsetting unforced errors for the leaders over the last couple races.

Ride of the day for me was Quatararo. Not bad coming in 7th

Totally identical with 1 key difference - Enea didn't make the corner, but Bagnaia did

he says 70-30 in Aragon and nothing at Misano

Alex had been overtaken on the outside and didn’t want to give up his position and Enea overtook on the inside. One was being overtaken and the other was doing the overtaking. I’m not sure how you view that as being identical.

Martin left a gap, last lap and a chance for victory, so he took it, albeit with a rather aggressive move. Martin did leave a gap though. Although he didn’t make the turn, I suspect this was due to contact rather than not being in control and unable to make the turn.
