I think he did and it looks like miller was a half a bike length ahead when they made contact . I didn't mention the bump between the riders at the first corner because I was referencing the part where people were calling me out for mentioning mm hittiing two people. these are all racing incidents imo but mm seems to be a pinball most races. I was actually pulling for marq at the racetrack I always have a part of me that wants him to succeed. watching him a cota do so good at the sprint seeing him at the stage was all good stuff. i just call balls and strikes. probably should not have speculated on the brakes thing armchair quarterbacking is dumb. and the thing he said happened could actually happen it's just the equipment he's using it's hard to believe .

I didn’t care for MM previously, but since the crash and complicated recovery, he’s proven his mettle and I’m a fan. My impression is that he’s one of the more aggressive riders, and is prone to more close calls and questionable passes. In the past, i think he was frequently too aggressive. The lunge on Martin at turn 20 was from too far back, and Martin was able to shut the door definitively. I agree with you that turn 11 with Miller was a racing incident, but i think more of the shared responsibility (60/40 maybe?) was Miller attempting to push Marc wide more than Marc cutting in - nothing egregious though.

Marc explaining the incident in more detail here (who knows if it’s legit or not but Carchedi backed him up saying there was a problem they could see in the data):

Schwantz was talking about Viñales clutch lever that swiches to a brake lever . The rider chooses via a cable-operated switch whether the left hand lever operates the clutch or the rear brake. Clutch is only used for the start ? imagine if that system failed. or the rider forgot to switch LOL

Pretty sure Brembo would come out and say their MC failed, cause if it did they’d be all over recalling all the ones like it to fix and repair it….so it would not happen again. Brembo has not said it failed.

It doesn't have to be MC, can easily be a line.

anyway, what you're saying is a total fuсking non-sense. Not a single manufacture acknowledges problems like that. Good luck finding Pirelli statement after Toprak's crash

I'm not sure you're helping your argument there

Love the title of this article. When has anyone ever hear of an expected brake problem?

I wouldn't be surprised with all the bumper cars he was playing that he damaged a brake line or fixture and he had sudden loss of pressure so he stabbed at the brakes multiple times and finally got them to work except they worked too well

How thin the frame is...

I'd be reluctant to change anything on the bike going from 2023 to 2024. They engineered themselves into a pickle though. It's interesting that more grip, which you'd always be chasing, causes the chatter which you have to figure how to balance out.

I wouldn’t be surprised if this chase for lateral flex is what’s causing the chatter. On braking and accelerating the mass of the engine probably oscillates and twists. But if Ducati add stiffness to these parts they lose mid-corner speed.
