Hi folks,

I am a short rider(5.7) and I own Panigale V2 Silk white. My question is when I move my bike on neutral in my parking it feels very free, but when I do the same by pressing the clutch it feels a little hard. Is it normal or there could be some issue in my clutch or gearbox??

Should be similar, check that your adjustment on the lever is allowing the clutch to be completely engaged, and I know on my 959/PaniR I need to bleed the clutch often to be able to have the prior advice work perfectly.

It depends…there’s quite a lot of drag while the oil is cold.
If it is still significantly more difficult when warm then bleed the clutch

It's normal for there to be a little bit of drag through the clutch. This is most likely what you are feeling when moving it by pulling the clutch lever. This will happen with the engine on or off.

It's normal to have a bit of drag when the bike is off and especially when the clutch has had a chance to dry out. My V2 doesn't even like to start in gear after it's been left overnight.

If the bike is in gear and you pull the clutch to move it (disengaging the gear), yes, that is normal. I'm on my 7th bike across the last 20 years (and 6 brands) and they have all more resistance when moving them with the clutch vs neutral.

Same here.

As others said, cold clutches will drag and make the bike hard to push. I have six motorcycles in my garage right now (3 Ducatis) and most of them are very difficult to push in gear with a cold clutch (especially the XDiavel and V2).
