Petrucci signed yesterday the contract with Ducati to be the dovicious partner next year. Maybe if JLO were not so bigmouth and had not faced Domenicalli in the press, he would have had another chance.

I think Petrucci will do a good job keeping that seat warm till Peco gets up to speed.
At least whoregay topped his arch rival,VR, and got a win on the ducati.
 
Lorenzo brought it and shut a whole lot of doubters up.. So who felt better this weekend?

Rossi tied the 2nd place pole setter (LORENZO) and managed a 3rd place finish.. all great things for him..

Lorenzo, Got what ever PART he has been asking for from Ducati, won the first weekend with it at Ducati's home track, and is leaving for what will be a better ride for him..

Hmmm, to bad marques crashed out was hoping to see him add another 4 points to his lead over Dovi.
 
Hard to believe a new shaped gas tank helped thst much for him but you never know. The commentators said it helped him on braking and being more steady

Hard to believe, only because none of us are at a level where it matters. Lorenzo is.
 
If it was a gas tank, this is my thoughts.. as a rider at this level in this sport, if you say i need a different gas tank, a factory team like ducati should do it no questions asked.

Interesting how he brought up Stoner who said something about needing a part(s) to get one with the bike many times.
 
We’ll find out next weekend where Lorenzo will be for the next two years. I know the rumor is a satellite Yamaha but I’ve got this weird feeling. I think Lorenzo may be on the Repsol Honda next year. It makes sense: Repsol likes Spanish riders, the announcement is set for Spain (which would be good for Repsol), Jorge alluded to bring on a competitive bike which the Honda may be more than the Yamaha. It’s good for Honda, if JL can’t win they’ve got Marquez, and it keeps him off a competitors bike. They have the money to pay him.
Marquez made some comments to the press that lead me to believe it is Lorenzo. (He said the Honda isn’t an easy bike to ride) which seemed like a warning to Lorenzo.

I could be wrong, it might be a Yamaha in Petronas colors, but what if...?

I think the Ducati engineers probably have their heads up their ...... They design the bike and probably dont like a rider suggesting to change their design ?
Which ever way , they win the award for the ugliest bike on the grid !
 
yes he did we all know he is going back to yamaha. yamaha needs him badly as the development of the bike has gone straight down since he left. what i find interesting about ducati is this

1 dovi went to ducati in 2013 and did not have his first win till end of 2016 season. took him almost 4 years (all 13 14 15 and almost all 16 to do it) while lorenzo did it in a year and a half.

2 yes dovi had 6 wins last year but if he didnt would we be talking about lorenzo leaving after 2 years as they kept dovi nicky and probably kept rossi if he wanted to stay.

3 ducati is notorious for not giving what the riders ask for except when they had rossi. mr stoner can attest to that.

i guess what im saying is that lorenzo isnt really that bad and if he is that bad dovi must really be bad

stoner said the bike was getting worse from 2008. it was never the bike always the rider so ducati tried to get lorenzo when stoner was sick then went and got rossi. him and burgess said they can fix the ducati in 30 min. well 2 years no wins is a little longer than 30 min. further it ducati didnt have a win from 2010 through halfway of 2016.

they still dont listen to rider input its clear.

Well seeing how Lorenzo made sure a Spanish rider won the title a few years ago, when he kept the whole field tied up and balked passes just to let his butt buddy MM win it, it would not be surprising.
 
Lorenoz on a repsol bike, that I would like to see.... and when he wins a race on it, OH MY!

dcpani are you remotely serious that lorenzo made a Spanish rider win the title? what are you refereing too when did jorge make MM win any title facts please
