Multiple DDAs not recognized on Macbook or windows FFS

Hi All.

I've got a DDA which is not being recognized by my MacBook Pro or my windows laptop - I mean nothing is showing on any port. It initially worked when it was a street bike but now it's a fully converted track bike. Full race system and mapped as such.

I ended up buying a new DDA Stateside as I thought it may be a hardware issue with the DDA and even that one is not being recognized by my Mac (or windows machine). I've got the software downloaded as well.

When I first plugged the new one in I saw it briefly then it never reappeared. Anyone, anywhere have any ideas? I'm so damn frustrated with them.

Thanks in advance.

Hi mate,
If the unit (DDA) is empty it won't show anything. It may pay to plug back into bike, erase it through the menu system, start the bike for a few minutes and then try again.

I've found in the past that both PC and Mac will not automatically open the DDA if there is no file on it. Neither Explorer or Finder will show the DDA when plugged into the computer.

One of them did have data initially (since it was working) the other didn't. The new one wasn't even recognized by the bike system either but I'll certainly try to erase it from the bike's system and retry when I get back home. Appreciate the quick response!

All good mate. Prosa do have software on their website to reprogram the DDA units, depending on whether you have the "basic" DDA installed or "race" module i.e brake sensors, suspension telescopic feedback measurement etc.

If you have to do this just make sure its on an "old PC". I have an old laptop with Windows 7 and its the only one that I can get it to change software modes on the DDA on. Painful, but it is what it is.

Just incase, I have a 1199 so not sure if this is the same for the 1299.
