I originally went to Ducati to purchase the Tri and after a canyon run through Santa Barbara mountains on the S Demo bike I concluded that I hated the DES so I decided to take the original advice from Carlin Dunne and buy the base and upgrade what I wanted on the bike so I did. But wait... there was one thing missing.. the fabulous paint scheme on the Tri! But thanks to Gunny I now have exactly the paint scheme I wanted. The Bellissimoto Tri in carbon! Ive seen a few pictures out there of it and I always thought it was cool so I decided to take the plunge. I was going to do a custom paint job but decided to keep it somewhat "Ducati Style" instead.

The carbon quality is really good, love the gloss finish and paint scheme. Fitment.. well not exactly plug and play. Patients and a diamond grit jewelers file is definitely needed. The front fairing was a PITA to install just like the original Ducati front fairings but to make things harder the tabs that hold the retaining clips for the top left and right fairings needed trimming with the file to remove the clear coat and excess carbon so the retaining clips could fit properly. The rest of the fairings needed little or no trimming. The tail pieces was plug and play. after the trimming fitment was perfect and all in all I'm very happy the way it turned out. Im still waiting on the Seat cowl which was back logged at Carbonvani.

Thanks Gunny you are the Man! Next up is the carbon tank.

Wow, most gorgeous Pani I've seen yet. Congrats!

Did you happen to weigh the OEM bodywork vs. the Carbon? Gotta get something for all that $$$ besides badass looks.

That looks awesome.

I really want to get their Ducati Corse SE schemed fairings....but damn are they expensive. They do have good carbon though...bought a seat cowl from them for my old F4 and the carbon and paint where top notch....also expensive!

i didn't weigh it but the carbon is considerable lighter when i compared the pieces.

Damn Scrapper! That looks F'ing AWESOME! Words cant describe the beauty. Nice touch with the black ceramic coated exhaust.

ScrapperX, I love your bike. I really like how it turned out, your Tricolore looks awesome and I very much appreciate how much work and $$$ your put into it. What a special bike and real stunner to boot.

Nice job, well done and I am very impressed.

Pizzadude sais it absolutely right ! :) many congrats .. :)

When you ll install the tank , keep the trimmers ready and check the fittings of the cap. I had to have 1.5 mm milled off the alu fitments holding the fitments at the triples to fit . Pia indeed .. Also check the inner fuel line to make sure it s well fitted . Mine came of and cost me 2 trackdays at assen ..

Grtz

One of the best base looking Pani's I've seen!!!!!!!!!

I like the black or carbon effect over the white Tri color scheme you did!
