I agree. I love the tri paint scheme but leaving the "S" on the fairings gives it a poser feel. Drop the "S" and you've got a winner! :D No hating here, love the bike!!!

Good on you. Do what YOU want. .... the haters and the smug Ducatisti. As long as you're proud. I couldn't give too ..... if real tri owners spent more. A) Doesn't mean they are better riders. B) Want the status symbol more than sensibility. I didn't get the tri, because I just don't like it. Anyone who isn't a DA will notice the STD wheels and suspension; they won't be fooled anyway.

LOL, we are taking this too serious. Thank you for the various complements on the bike.

1-I got the bike with that color scheme cause I like it
2-It have the S cause it is part of the sticker kit and clear coated. "IT CANNOT COME OUT", without some serious work and more $$
3-I will upgrade the wheels (so if you know of somebody that wants to sell them, let me know). At that point if would be a tricolore with a better suspension ("In my humble opinion")

I duplicated cause I like the tricolore, but I could not afford to buy one. But I was able to buy the base with ABS, and little by little make it the way I wanted.
 
The more I look at this bike the more I like it. I think I prefer those rims over the S/Tri....
What's the weight difference between them?

but, I would recommend to paint the whites and blacks. Otherwise, you might see the old sticker recess when you remove them. Also, make sure you clearcoat everything once done. Good luck!

Does it work?....I'm tried of sliding around on the standard seat and hate the extra height of the comfort seat. Oh yeah the bike looks good. S or not, enjoy it!:D

Yes, it does. Combined with the LSL racing pads and the tank pads, you are glue to the bike.
