Trans - I just posted here about it:

http://ducati1199.com/gear/17707-commuter-helmet.html

I pre-ordered it and got it about a week ago. They are right, they weren't the first for the concept, but they did it better! I have it on my Arai Corse.

Damn, lol... Sorry, I figured since most released it this last week this wasn't up yet. But hey, people can see how it functions in the video if they want.

Did you order yours with the insert or not? It's FAR better than the standard pinlock. Overall, I was VERY surprised with the quality, which even as an Arai product surprised me.

What do you mean by insert? I just ordered the Pro Shade it put it on my Corse. What's the best option for my Shoei?

Why are so many things hard to find? I had the same issues finding a jacket, and before that boots.

I looked some more, looks like it's either sold out everywhere or hasn't been released yet. Could have sworn it was released already!

I'm an invalid. :)

I think the attachment system on the Corsair is light years behind what the new Shoei helmets have. It's harder to use and more bulky. I don't see a single aspect of it that is better.

That aside, what's it like with the tinted part up at speed?

Broke my neck the first time I used it lol - its fine.

Why is the Shoei system any better? I love that it's 2 shields in one, and I can see my phone and gauges under the dark part, which is darker then the dark shield. I am not wearing sunglasses for the first time.

Trans - why would you use the insert?

It's designed for anti-fog ie it's a pinlock. When I ride in the morning, even on hot days, it's so humid it fogs really bad if I'm not moving.

I have had a pinlock on my xd4 for awhile and through the winter. I don't know why i waited so long to go pinlock, it's like the best thing ever lol.

The aspect is that the shield isn't inlaid into the shell and provides more protection over your temples. Yay science!

ok, that at least makes some sense. Totally agree on the pinlock too. I just ride with them year round now.
