new Carbon Termignoni Pipes

Ducati Forum

Help Support Ducati Forum:

Problem with the old Termi mufflers is the flow and the sharp bend in the muffler this seems to solve the issue .

Wilks,
Did you fit up your Akra's yet ? If so happy with it ?

The two advantages they will always have over Akra's, upmaps and warranty. If this is similar or less weight, same or better performance, it will blow away the Akra in sales/resale of the bike, IMO. Termis still look better on a Ducati - I like keeping the whole thing Italian :)

It will be interesting to see if they "blow away" Termi in sales. I think a lot of people will still go with Akra. Maybe it will end up a 50 50 split. In 6 months or so when the new Termi has been out for a while maybe we could do a vote post and get some results from this forum to see. I had to let go of the "DP only" thing when I bought German foot pegs for my bike.

And BTW isn't Igor's mother is Italian, so it makes my exhaust half Italian.

Curious if there is a difference in sound vs. the current slip-ons. As far as I can tell the stock exhaust sounds very similar.

New termignoni exhaust?

Not sure if it's posted yet but I saw this this morning on Fb and thought I'd post it up.

It looks nice with the cf, but if it's price like the akrapovic I rather get the akrapovic

All titanium and carbon fiber. Lighter than the Akras so says the material.

Give it a rest Mark - things improve, they get better, its a good thing! :)

The design gets rid of some of the previous problems and should make more power. It is also the lightest system so I want one.

Sorry, I know you lucky guys overseas don't bother 'bout concerns of us "Old Europeans" :)
But for me the main issue is: is this thing homologated?

I'm not allowed to put an Akra on a regular Pani. I will get caught and sentenced to death.
But if this exhaust is sold by Ducati, there is a minimal chance that this thingy will be allowed on our ...... public roads. In that case, I'll buy it!!! :D

but the exhaust exit sits at the front of the bike now? I can't imagine that being sexy

I actually didn't realize that when I first looked at the pics. I can see why they would do it though, eliminates that big bend, saves a bit of weight and the length difference would be minimal. I applaud them for some outside the box thinking on that one.

That is a different approach... Seems like it might make it louder for the rider since it's more in front of you?
