The dealership is definitely not moving on price for a new 1299 and I'm not looking to pay 26ish for an S.
They do have some 2014 S models that I can probably get for 20ish. Its a year newer, so might help with depreciation.
Im gonna go look at all the options on Friday. Maybe a 1299 standard? Don't really know but I suspect a Panigale will be in my possession next week.

Prob like most people your thinking low down, dreads on wrists. The Eros in this bike is what makes it!! I could ride all day long no problem, the bike was designed very cleverly to give the rider more room.
My advice is take the dealers demo out for several hours. I had a 13 base with abs and termi slip on it was amazing to ride and shook the ground literally!!
It is the best looking bike out there IMO.
Money? I am to be the poorest person in the graveyard! Today is precious grab it with both hands

Agreed with the older guys. I saw some older guys tear up Sandia Crest when I was stationed in NM
