You looking for daytime or night time video ?

Preferably daytime so I can see the visibility. Safety is big for me because I've been in 2 major accidents (ok one was a deer and visible signals wouldn't have really helped there...lol)

Really appreciate it whenever you get around to it! I was debating between Rizoma and Comp Werkes before you posted about this kit, which I had never heard of. So thanks again for enlightening me and the rest of the forum.

Yes sir, no prob. I will work on it this weekend. I tried to make a video already and it came out like crap. I'll try harder.

They really are nice in the daytime. I actually stopped using hand signals. And the guy who makes them is improving the design so it will be even nicer.

NOLA

Thats at night with no flash from cam. The LED white light illuminator is very bright. Almost not possible for cops to say you dont have an illuminated plate, and thats its not visible from 50ft.

I can take some daytime ones if you want also.

So , it in fact does have a a dedicated plate light? And if so, is it this " LED white light illuminator" you speak of ?

Just installed mine

I might have to buy this kit, I like it. Was the installation hard?
Pretty straight forward. The installation instructions are available here: https://www.newragecycles.com/v/vspfiles/assets/images/1199_899 Fender Eliminator Kit.pdf
If you don't mind the soldering you will be just fine. I hate to admit it but my wife did the soldering since she is a former electronics fabricator.
You need a hair dryer to shrink the heat shrink tubing which is included.
Hope this helps.

Eeek! I didn't realize this required soldering. Looks like I'll need to find a way to wheel her inside the apartment to make it happen.

I've been lurking around reading different experiences for fender kits - I'm pretty sure I'm getting this one. It's just....clean.

I don't mind the blinking speed either.

Thanks for the writeup!!

Doesn't look too hard, I wonder if the led mirror block off blinkers are any good?

I did mine without any soldering. I just used barrel connectors and shrink wrapped them with a hair dryer.

In the next couple of days I will have the upgraded unit in my hands to install. Its all metal construction and larger thicker Lexan turn signals on it. The same unit that the pics just got posted below.

The install was really easy as the tail does not need to come off. Just the lower part is replaced.

Exactly, that's the way to go if you don't like soldering. Had my wife as the soldering expert and the equipment on hand...hence my approach;)

I'm currently running the CW unit, but this certainly is an interesting alternative. However, I think I may actually prefer the look of the slimmer LED turn signal bar. Has there been any indication as to whether this will continue to be offered alongside the thicker bar?

Ahh good call - that sounds way easier than dealing with a couple stairs and 2 90* turns :p.

Or going out to buy a >100' extension cord.
