Nicky at Laguana Seca
Ducati was not too good at the time but definitely my favorite 2 in Ducati. lol
Nicky at Laguana Seca
I did and he said "I would be relieved to see Nicky go in peace right now vs. sustaining a medically induced coma indefinitely"
Pretty sure Nicky's family doesn't gives a .... about you being relieved.
With all do respect, neither Honda nor his family are going to pic up the phone and call all of us. We are going to read about it in the news.
what I was trying to say earlier but probably failed miserably -I think most of what we are learning is lost in translation and blurry at best.
one thing is for sure It is not good. family members and close friends don't talk about someone in the past tense and cry uncontrollably when it looking good.
there is no reason to turn this into a heated discussion.
Maybe some of us feel a strong kinship with Nicky because we've watched him race in person or possibly raced against him in wera/ama comp. I know he feels less like a famous person to me than just a fellow motorcycle racer and enthusiast . Whether you've spent time with him in person , on the track or just watched him from 12yo to 35 on the TV I don't see how you cannot be upset by his injuries and want him to be OK .
surely we can agree on this
it sucks but truth is we can only pray and wait .
Hey guys I'm not a super long time member here and I've been following this post from the beginning and thinking about posting a positive note to give some hope to all those who's guts feel sick wondering if Nickey will pull through as I do. So I really hope this helps. Also forgive my grammar skills.
Back in 2006 I too was in coma from a motorcycle accident. (woman hit me) I was in coma for a month and docs where saying similar things and could see my brain activity start to improve and eventually came out of it ( which is a whole other story of things I saw and places I thought I was) along with some titanium and reconstruction and I live to ride again, and while my family was enduring the pain of wondering if I'd make it I did pull through with some memory loss and headaches often but Nickey now being in this position I know that prayers work and miracles happen so those of us who trust Jesus as our Lord and savior just keep praying for Nickey, it's very possible he'll be the same good ol' Nickey we all have watched and seen over the years
Keep fighting Nickey!!!
you can still choose the news. as in that post- legit sources. not some clickbait .....
see the roadracingworld article. people in the racing family. not some European journalist with too much time on his hands.
Exactly. Thank you for that.
People do come back and Miracles do happen.
