One of the article had this and also police reported that there was no tire marks from the car...so no brakes from the car when it hit Nicky.

It did not say whether Nicky had a helmet on. BUT I am pretty sure he did and a safe assumption. Every picture I saw him riding, he had a helmet on...but doesn't help much when you get hit by a car going full speed....

I hear and again hearsay that drivers sometimes target cyclist in Italy. They are hated. Alededly nicky "came out of nowhere" that's talk for in wasn't paying attention for the driver. I posted an article on how so many people are run down over there by cars on purpose.
Guys we see it here how many accidents he came out of nowhere. No he didn't you were on the phone.

During spring and summer days, I cycle around 30-50 miles a week and fear this each n every time I ride. Honestly, I fear this a hell of a lot more than I do when I ride on the motorcycle. Some cyclists hog the roads as if it belongs to them and they have the right of way no matter what. Most don't even obey street signs or lights for that matter, simply because they don't want to slow down their pace. Regardless, none of those idiotic behaviors warrants a careless act by a driver of a vehicle. I've witnessed cyclists who even ride in the middle lane of a 3 lane road with heavy traffic holding up cars behind it when they have an actual bike lane to ride on, completely ignoring all the honks and obscene gestures by passing vehicles. Sometimes these kinds of riders leave such a bad impression on the wrong kind of person that they find a reason that seems logical to them to try n take out the next cyclists they see. Sick people out there in this sick world.

This isn't fair! In 2006, we went to see the race at Laguna Seca. Nick the Quick was always the first rider out of the garage and on track. I watched that man win the 2006 MotoGP championship and can remember it like it was yesterday.

Terrible. :(:(

Oddly, haven't heard a single thing about the driver or what may happen to them
