I just found out that there will be no WSBK coverage on speed channel this year, has anyone else heard this? I have checked the programing for next weeks season opener (2/24) and there is nothing to be found!!! I'm pissed!!!!! I talked to a friend and he said from what he could find out there will be no WSBK or AMA coverage and very little if any Moto GP. I went onto the speed website and sent an email. i suggest others do the same. Here is my email to them: I am an AVID motorcyclist and I am very upset with speed channel. For years I have been watching World Superbike on speed. The season opener is one week away and I find out that there will be no coverage this year. I now have no reason to subscribe to speed channel any longer!!! The only reason I have upgraded package is to be able to watch motorcycle road racing (Moto GP and WSBK)!!!!!! I am going onto all the forums I can and pass this along!!!

Make room for NASCAR....

It sucks, but you can find these on live web feeds and on torrent sites after the fact. Blame your common American ignorant pleb.

my guess is they're moving it to the new speedchannel 2 Home - SPEED2 unfortunately not available in my area. I see they are carrying motogp. etc.

Fox not the news bought speed last year.

yup. total ........ man. loved to set DVR on races and watch them back to back without commercials. Now we get NOTHING from these redneck loving race car fans! BLOWS!

Hopefully just the TV schedule hasn't been released yet. If you go on the speed website and look at moto-racing on speed it says SBK is on Sundays way down at the bottom. This could be a carry over from last season. On the comparo page for speed and speed2 MotoGP and SBK are still on Speed's list. It does suck ALOT that speed has almost removed motorcycling altogether though in comparison to ten years ago.

speed sucks and is continuing to get worse since Murdock took over. Thats why i now watch motogp online.

Screw SPEED, they should call it the NASCAR channel.

Having lived in the UK and South Africa both country's coverage of BSB, MotoGP, WSBK, etc knock the socks of any US coverage. The NASCAR factor is big in America and there's a real good article in Sport Rider this month explaining this. At the end of the day you can't blame the big cheeses who determine what gets shown for putting the higher $ return programs on even if it is damn annoying. Over the last couple of years I've been buying the video season pass for 99 Euros from MotoGP.com. This gives me access to every FP, qualifying sessions and the races in all 3 classes. Stream it from the iPad through AppleTV onto the 70" and we're sorted (much to the wife's dismay)!!! :D

yep in US just no real money in racing coverage other than nascar, maybe indy?

Just checked my 7 day programe guide and was delighted to see full, live coverage of the opening round scheduled to air on Speed.

Go Carlos....:)

It's offical, Speed USA will not show any WSBK races in 2013
There was a report on that online, Speed did expected 280000 viewers and got 80000 on average, so they dropped it from the 2013 line up.

So if any of you here in the USA figures out how to watch it , online or wherever, please share the information.

In the UK we get live MotoGP race on the BBC, qualifying is live on the red button (don't ask) just pay through your annual TV licence.

WSB and BSB is through Eurosport which is live but you pay a cheap monthly subscription, however it only shows the WSB qualifying.

AMA Superbikes we get totally not live through Motors TV channel. The coverage we get is from SPEED USA. How do you put up with so many adverts or messages as they call them? Scott Russell is a legend but his voice can get a little annoying! Next time you hear him commentate count how many times he says "right now".

Only in NObama land, home of the flippen beeding liberals that hate motorcycles (Just my opinion) They should just name it the redneck NASCAR channel. To each his own, if you like NASCAR, great watch it but, why no road racing? They are still showing Motocross, I seriously doubt that there are that many more off road enthusiast than road. Many are both, I myself have been following supper cross this season. So far everything says NO coverage except possibly Daytona, thats it for us here in the States. Just not right!!!

So what say one of you rich Aussies post up a live stream so we can watch or maybe you can record and post it up?
