No WSBK coverage on Speed Channel

I found this, not good:

Speed is undergoing dramatic change in 2013 as it morphs from an all-motorsports network into a Fox-branded multi-sport network which will try to leverage NASCAR and mainstream sporting events so that it can do battle with ESPN. Speed let F1 go from their schedule last Fall, and as it stands now, according to one insider, "all motorcycle racing is in trouble on Speed, now and in the future".

With 3 US MotoGp rounds I would hope they figure out the TV rights before the season starts, but we're a no go on everything else :(

at least you can get moto gp online streaming. i dont mind paying for it. i guess i will have to check out the torrents for the others.

"Be in Sport" network is in negotiation to broadcast this saturdays WSB at 8pm.
with live streaming as well. I just upgraded to SportPack on Directv and have that channel now just in case they carry the Race.

Update from Superbike Planet:

"Update: beIN Sport USA, Al Jazeera's American sports channel, will take over broadcasting WSBK in the USA.

On the face of it, this is good news for those who feared the series would have no presence in the US. However, the beIN network does not have the reach that Speed did. Comcast, DirecTV and Dish Network seem to carry beIN Sport at this time.

Currently, there is no listing at all for WSBK on the beIN Sport schedule and the series kicks off this weekend. Additionally, there is no confirmation with WSBK that beIN Sport will televise the races in the US.

Suggestions that WSBK will be a streamed on-line in the USA seem muddled by the wording on the beIn Sport web site which states However, streaming will ONLY be available through an authentication system that verifies you are a customer of a cable TV, telco or satellite provider that carries beIN SPORT. In other words if you can see the race on your television then it will stream. "

Checked my Comcast listing and they do have BeIN, so fingers crossed...

I see BeIN added WSBK to their TV Guide for this Sat. Although I don't see a stream option on their site?
