This is why I’m a little salty towards the brand. It’s like they’re constantly trying to bend you over. I’ve only been following the Ducati scene closely for the last 3-4 yrs after picking up my V4S, but is this price gouging a normal thing or just recent?Awesome markup from Ducati for the exact sale part.

Just reading this old thread, just interested how you figured out this had happened? Did you feel it when riding of did you see it when servicing? The adjuster somehow backed all the way out of my left (compression) fork. Unless I can somehow power the adjuster and get the motor to run long enough to thread the adjuster back in, there doesn't seem to be a way to fix it, outside of buying a new cap assembly. Which are a hilarious $995 (each) from Ducati, 34921321A. I'm planning on reaching out to Ohlins USA though.
I broke the plastic section trying to get it back together. Once I realized it wasn't meant to be serviceable I wasn't very delicate with it. The damper rod merely presses into the end and can rotate freely. I'm at a loss for how it backed out though.
