So owning a few different ducati's oil changes in the spring suck. So Looking to get this price down I shopped around. This post and stuff I post is all for the 1199s.

Ordered from ducati omaha for 4 qt oil/oil filter/O-rings/crush washer for a price of...(NOTE, sorry I can't find my paper work for my 1199. This oil change is for my 1198s but with the oil filter for the 1199 being more it was about the same price.)

So shopping around I found the same stuff....

$7.50 a QT for oil x4 30.00/ no tax or anything since I order online with free shipping

Oil filter 30.29 is the cheapest I could find. Again no tax and no shipping fee

Then on ebay I found a 140 piece crush washer(I'll use a lot of the other sizes for other cars I own) for $3.48 no shipping and no taxes

Then found local the O-rings for .54 cent each, I got a few extras.

I still think I can get it cheaper, I don't think I'll find the oil filter cheaper. Maybe the oil per QT I might.

Just thought you guys would want to see this, or could help me find it for less.

So many good aftermarket filters, no need to use the stock overpriced ones. I think I did K&N last time. Hiflo before. Both quality units

Ive been using Castrol high end oil at about 10 a quart.

Works fine.

oring after inspection has been good every time.

Crush washer has sealed every time as well.

Never knew there was aftermarket oil filters. Thanks, and I'll look them up.

On another thread I was bashing local retailers for jabbing customers on bits, on parts that are chicken feed like filters and crush washers (consumables) I buy from my local dealer. It's just the big ticket items I save a bit on.

I guess I don't know if this is a stab at my post or what. I was just posting this after buying a oil change kit and getting hit with 4 dollar for each O-ring set or paying almost 15 dollars for a QT of oil and dealerships just wanting to up charge anything they can.
