Good afternoon,

Leaving in two days to take off to Calabogie in Ontario Canada for a 3 day event. Track is supposed to be phenominal. I hope it lives up to its hype.

While i was on Pro-6 website i noticed there are other tracks offered by them. Canadian Tire Motorsport Park. This track is 2.5 miles long and looks like it has good elevation change. I wanted to give it a shot, it is 5.5 hours drive for me and about 300 miles. Its a haul but i may as well give it a shot. Has anyone here been to this track? I signed up for August 29th if anyone is interested in joining me. With the Canadian exchange and after taxes the fee was only $231.00, not too bad!

I also noticed another track in the area called Shannonville Motorsports Park. This track is only 1.4 miles, not huge, but it should be fun. I think the fee is only $160 Canadian, so a little over $140 when it is said and done. I have not paid or signed up yet but the date i am planning is Sept 20th.

It is a great time to be living in Northern Vermont- 9 tracks within a 2.5 hours to 5.5 hours drive! We get some decent snow up in these hills in the winter for some fantastic Skiing! :D:D:D

I’ll be there. It’s one of the best track in North America. Which bike are you riding? All the V4Rs that we’re there last failed sound check and were not allowed on the track. PM me if want to coordinate at the track

so i find it ridiculous some tracks have noise restrictions? defeats the purpose of performance orientated riding. Any knowledge on how they get away with noise restrictions and customers continue to go there.

It's not the tracks that impose noise restrictions. It's usually the municipality responding to noise complaints by the locals. If they tracks don't enforce the the sound limits imposed by city bylaws they will lose their zoning permits and or face large fines. The problem is only going to get worse as new homes are built closer and closer to exiting racetracks. This is a similar pattern happening with new homes being built around airports and home owners complaining after the fact
