Ordered some 1299 takeaway

Hey guys obviously new here as ive just put a deposit on a base 1299 which arrives here at the end of Nov,, my previous bike were a 07 R1 (street), 08 gsxr1000 (race) and a 2011 zx10r (race) but am super pumped to start my Panigale love affair

I test rode both the new R1 and the 1299 and being 6'3 the Duc just felt like it fit me better plus that engine

A few things im getting the DDA GPS plus changing it to race pattern , i was thinking of changing out the rear sachs unit for an ohlins ttx ,, thoughts ?? will a 1199 unit bolt straight in ?? also anything else i should do to it or know ??

Yep the 1199 unit will bolt straight in and most likely the Achilles heel of the 1299 base so not a bad idea .

Go the SoloDL route instead of DDA+. Much better logger, much better software, and it works with multiple bikes/cars instead of just the Ducati.
