Just bought the Panigale Bike cover for 355. Didnt want to mess around with getting covers that dont fit. Opened the box, put it on....arghhhhh...I have one of those licenses plate holders in the back and the cover just wont fit. I cant take the license plate off and now force to cut into the cover to make it work. If anyone is thinking about getting understand that its made for bikes with no license plate holders.

I noticed on the pics with the cover, none of the bikes have a license plate holder on it.

If anyone has a solution to this besides cutting into it, please post?

Got the batwings with the bike. Thinking about trying the tidy one but not sure if that will make a difference with the cover.

I also have the Ducati 1199 bike cover .. it fits just fine with the DP tail tidy.

Trust this helps.

i agree that it is hard to get it on but i do it after every ride and even with the "billboard" for a license plate holder. sorry for the mess of my garage but here it is on the bike.

Jcg...Thanks for the pic. I was pulling it to try to make it fit but it was really tight and didnt want to rip it or pull on the plates to hard but will try again because I can see its possible...Going to get the tidy to make it easier.

Thats a slippery slope dude :p

When you spent >30k Euro on a bike, its kinda bit late to get too conscious.

Anyhow, its fully tailored and very pretty ..... just like whats underneath.

lol well I feel like the money spent on the bike actually amounted to something. What is the big difference between the Bilt cover and the Ducati one? Is it really going to make a difference in storage? Is it going to wash and wax my bike for me all winter? Maybe stop time so nothing deteriorates?

I'm just not sure how that extra money is justified in a cover.....not saying you're incorrect, I just haven't seen it yet.

$355 for a cover? Pretty?....Yes but for that kind of money the cover should do a full detail while it's on the bike

Price wasnt a factor. Just wanted a nice fit and having a nice look is just an extra. I noticed the material is top notched. When you mail order stuff its a pain in the ass to return, wait, etc.. I have seen other covers rip, fade, discolor, etc..

Thanks for all the feedbacks. Great site.... found lots of info that I was looking for.

Man, you guys must be loaded. Tri-Colore.. Awesome bike but 30K is alot of money. I would get it if I had the money. I have the base w/ABS. Just not that good to feel the difference yet. Anyone with the S w/abs didnt do their research, could have gone with the tri-colore for almost the same cost if you add up the extra stuff that comes with it. I have buddies in South Africa and the paid 45K for the Tri-colore so be lucky we get these prices.
