Claymore, do you have any videos with that Werkes pipe on your bike? Quite like it and I also quite like the AR pipes but then again, I do like LOUD... each to their own.

Why you selling it?

A lady did a u turn in front of me so the Dragon lady had to go to hospital. My termi slip ons had dents in it oo and RACE's head mechanic said the CW slip on will work with my Termi manifolds so I bought the CW slip on. It didn't work with the Termi's and I had to use the standard manifolds so I had me Termi slip ons repaired and refitted.
For the little while I used the CW slip on with the normal manifolds I loved it. If I could use ity with the Termi manifolds it would still have been on the Dragon Lady.
On the video the yellow GSX R 1000 has been sopued up, has a race quick shifter too and its pilot weighs about 20 kg's less than me. He gave the Yellow Mamba full beans and I just tickled the Dragon Lady yet she just walked away from him - in the first part you hear the CW slip ons but once we turn the corner at the robot you can't her it any more - for obvious reasons...

Yes the pipe performed well on the very top end. But with the 1199, it created a huge hole (drop in power) around 5-7K rpm.

So my suspicion is that exiting corners where you find yourself lower than 7K revs, drive out of those corners will negatively impacted. On the straights though, you may be king.

And when I say the Pani AR system sounds like a GP bike, thats exactly what I mean. It's crazy.

We should also keep in mind that sound is subjective. Harley guys think straight pipes on their hogs sound good. I hate them with a passion. I've heard the AR exhaust on an Ape, S1000, Super Duke, Pani. I happen to like all of them.

With that said, ones money would be better spent on the Akra system. It is second to none. Form, fit, and function.

I've had Austin Racing systems before, always gain top end power (3-4hp, nothing significant) but throughout the rev range I lost power, a lot of it. They sound amazing, look amazing but I wouldn't buy or run another one again, not after loosing 5-10 though the mid range, which is where I actually needed power.

Would never run that obnoxiously loud junk on my 15R. Its exactly that, straight pipes on a bloody superbike, that are ear bleedingly loud and not cool, just obnoxious and stupid. I'm sure all the posers love them.

My thoughts exactly. :)

why not just go to the local auto parts store, pick out an exhaust tip, and attach it to the T-pipe of the stock headers? same effect, but MUCH cheaper :p

how long till the welded tabs fail is the other issue.... straight pipes at akro prices outsourced and done in imaginary metallurgy materials.. .
