Great photo Twisted
Thanks, a friend did a photo shoot for us Sunday. That was my favorite shot. I'll have to post some of the pics in the other motorcycles section tonight.
Great photo Twisted
Another amazing morning on this bike....200km run through some of the best twisties around...some pics
Some nice roads and scenery. A beautiful day today but working. Thunderstorms forecast for my Sunday off.
There are some awesome roads around here very technical, narrow and some serious sharp switch backs and at times bumpy, still playing alot with front suspension settings and steering dampner settings as i need to go from fast hot mix to bumpy tar roads....so I have to have 2 settings one in race and one in sport.
The road limits are stupid, because they just want to raise revenue, so it becomes a real cat and mouse game....but you are right the scenery is pretty awesome, might do some shots through the rainforset tomorrow.
I look forward to those rainforest pics.
Nice photos! Wish I could ride...last few days has been rainfall raining in CA....
One day we are asking for rain, next thing we are flooding!
Didnt get to go there as a tree came down across the road, so had to cancel the trip
Wallaroo any feedback on how the CNC rearsets are working out. I'm curious about the shift action. Play/flex, lever throw distance ?
When I first put them on it took a bit to dial them in. Sometimes during hard ecceleration it didnt go up a gear, so I got that sorted, now even if I am a bit tired and lazy it will. everything else is great and i am really impressed with them.
I have been Chatting with Ben Henry who is TB's business partner and he said bring the bike in and he will set it up like their race bikes with a faster response in shift times, also the ride height so it will be more nimble, once I get those things done PI here I come
That's great to hear. I've been going back and forth between DP and CNC. They both offer the options I'm looking for. I've leaning towards the silver/black CNC.
Sounds like your suspension will be getting setup properly. PI should be a ball. The biggest change my suspension guy did for me was two more turns of preload added to the forks. Left the rear preload alone. Can't wait to hit the track this year.
I would go the CNC ones, I am sure you will really like them.
I am only 10km's from Lakeside track, which is pretty much closed down except for a few odd events, double up with Troy and track days, but i want to take this bike to a track I really know and that is PI has I have ridden it a fair few times.
Cant be to long now and you should out on track....mid to the end of spring ??
A morning at our starbucks, up the hill through some awesome twisties.
The more I ride this bike the more I love it, everything is slowly starting to bed in and become smoother.
I have not found the lower revs to much of a problem in traffic, but it will be interesting to see how much a difference the rapid bike makes. I have already fitted the MWR air filter, so wouldnt know if that made any difference.

I would definitely highly recommend the cnc rearset. IMO they are the best looking out there and also highly adjustable. They are a bit $$$ but worth it
Looking good.....I still have my seat cover to go on yet, I just covered the 1199R with a Ducati Corse badge.
Managed to fit the CNC Rear brake reservoir today as well, might do the Moto Corse clutch and front brake tomorrow if I feel like taking the front fairing off
Finally got to put these Sub frame covers on from Fullsix. They were really easy didnt have to remove a thing, just made up some clips out of clothes pegs and used the frame plugs as well to hold them on....got a big ride on Sunday so it will be good to see if they stop any heat.
We have a few pot holes around this area at the moment, thanks to cyclone Debbie....Yep Debbie does Australia
