Just install the new return-to-home feature. It interfaces to your iPhone. You open the app, it locates your bike, remote starts it, then the bike drives itself back to a pre-configured location via steering/shifting servos and a GPS.

you cant call 140 km/h speed. above 200 maybe.

i'm feeling with you. (and finally understand your grumpiness all the time - thanks to canada)

please tell me he's not tieing it down on the sidestand? Those cases have been known to crack from doing that. If they did look very carefully when you get it back.

Sounds like the Canadians are out for revenue enhancement too!

Dick head cops...they impounded a bunch of vehicles in including a ....... PRIUS, how embarrassing, at least I had a good excuse.

It's a sham, tow truck driver loaded 3 vehicles onto the same tow truck and is charging us $350 EACH (not split 3 ways.)

$560 ticket, yay.

Wow too fast!

Sorry to hear about the fine and 140kph? That's not even. Just been to Germany and France where the Pani was smiling at 165 mph!!!! No tickets all day long!

charlie that's the rizoma fender eliminator right? I like the looks! Are you riding it or the sprint up to Mt. Airy? I'm not sure I can go as streetfighter's not up to it and I'd hoped the replacement for the wing, the mts gt would be here, but no sign yet.

Because base is best: ;)

Yup. It's the Rizoma unit. I used the stock turn signals with it as they're fine by me. And it avoided having to do any cut/splice into the existing harness back there. Had to drill out (slightly) the access hole in the Rizoma unit so the stock signal connectors could go up into the tail section but other than that it installed without a hitch.
Yes, I'll be riding the Panigale up to Mt. Airy. Google says it's about 320 mi and it's good roads (twisties/sweepers) between here and Asheville and however I choose to cut over to Mt. Airy after. So will be a good ride.
You're going to weenie out on this one? For shame. It's not much further than Erwin and you rode your RV4 to that one. Come ride up with me. We'll have fun.

yeah, I know I'll probably go, I usually do. and of course ECM the following weekend!

I rode the pani last year to ducs fly south , liked to killed me! :)

Frequent stops is the key. And if you think the Pani is bad, you should have done it on my 748! Rode that up to Wilkesboro a few times in late 90s with Vito when he and I used to go. Pani feels like cruiser compared to the ergonomics on a 748/916.
So what time do you want to meet up on that friday morning? Google says it's 5 hours from my house so we can probably be there in 3. :)

yep rode my 996 up to mt airy one year, bought a trailelr after that! :) I wasn't right for a week after that and I was a young whippersnapper then!

I remember vito he had an old 900 and also an aprilia 250 I think?

And you're still a young guy. I'm an old man at 61 and I have no problem with 300 mi days on the Pani. I swear this younger generation......!!!!
Yup, Vito had the Aprilia 250 Cup bike. I raced it for about a season and then sold it to him and he raced it the next season. We both raced 750ss together. He (like me) is retired from racing now. He's now one of the principal (maybe THE principal) owner of Ducati-Austin. Has an SF. Got insulted when I called it his "chick bike". :)

Did you install the engine sliders your self? How easy was it? I notice you installed the suspension protection option.

How do you like them overall?

I installed everything, but the sprocket set up and the Sato suspension support. I didn't have any torque specs or chain tool so, didn't trust myself to do the sprocket change. I don't mind doing bolt on stuff, but I'm not a mechanic and I can get a little superstitious :D Also didn't want to mess with the rear suspension. The Sato sliders took a little "massaging" but was pretty straight forward.
