I got 2 speeding tickets this month within a week of each - 43/30 and 73/60. My lawyer got one dissmissed, the other $100, no points, and he charged me $275. That is St Louis though, the surrounding municipalities just want your money, and want to keep you on the road. DWIs are bad though, this just works for speeding.

the first change in my bike!)

FML...impounded for 7 days. 40km/h over the ultra low speed limit on a HIGHWAY (80km/h) = bend over.

Sorry to hear this FF; I HATE driving in Canada now. I lived in Vancouver for 18 years up until 2003 and the fun police became progressively worse. Ontario is worse; I beleive it is a $10,000 fine for 30 KM over the limit (about 20 MPH) and they can KEEP your bike/car.

Where I live, there are few cops, little traffic, and if you do get a ticket, you probably end up paying a local lawyer about $300 and he spreads it around such that it is kept off you record, no points.

Anyway, I feel for you; I may have to move to Toronto within the year. I suppose it is a trailer and and a track bike if that happens.

Haha, just to follow up on why I did stop, same day same place, someone else decided they weren't going to stop.

Motorcyclist fined $1,100 after high-speed Sea-to-Sky ride

I guess canada would be a good market for smoke blowers, oil spitters, and bike camo gear to hide after the first two have been used.

that's freakin inhumane what's goin on up there.

so after not going to VA ever, canada is also on that list for me.

Yeah, OMG, speeds up to 140km/h???? Stop the presses!

Just install the new return-to-home feature. It interfaces to your iPhone. You open the app, it locates your bike, remote starts it, then the bike drives itself back to a pre-configured location via steering/shifting servos and a GPS.

you cant call 140 km/h speed. above 200 maybe.

i'm feeling with you. (and finally understand your grumpiness all the time - thanks to canada)
