I'm confused - why would Ducati get a ladyboy to pose with this bike? If that's the kind of "women" they are saying it'll attract, I'm not interested. In fact I'd be hauling ass the other way! :D

Pic of the group at our lunch stop today. Damn, was a great ride today. It's fun running with the S1000RRs, and being in front, hehe!

Day before I bought it

This is the pic I took right before I signed the papers. I love it in black. I see less of that than any other color. And I think the carbon looks more subtle and classy that way... Can't say enough goo about it.

Let me know what you think.

You see less of that than any other color because it is brand new for this year and also drivers will see less of you, thus making your black bike even more dangerous than bikes are in general. Hopefully you have some bright "look at me" gear.

Each to his own. Matt carbon fibre has no appeal to me. It has one advantage though, it absorbs radar making it in effect a stealth bike. You should be able to fly below the radar. :p

I also concur with double0. It's lack of visibility is a licence to get you killed due to low visibility.

I appreciate the concern, and I understand what you're saying completely. My post was simply to comment on how I liked the color. I've been riding in some form for over 20 years so I'm sure I'll be OK despite the flat black and carbon.

I think it looks great, don't worry for visibility they come with lights!!!

LOL, Yeah that's what I figure. I just love it how even on a simple pic forum, people feel the need to bestow their endless knowledge on the rest of us. I didn't ask how safe everyone thought it was, I asked if it looked good. The perils of riding are painfully obvious to most of us that have been doing it longer than a couple of years. So in a thread full of pics I thought it'd be a bunch of people checking out cool looking bikes, rather than more internet jockeys with "important advise" about how I should ride.

Do not ask for people's opinions if you want to get snotty about it when you get it.

Hmm figure I'd try it, all heat shields removed and upper header wrapped...looks hot, and its HOTT lol. Think im doing to double up the wrap tomorrow and if still unbearable reinstall the shield over it. Newly installed gold March wheels ...I think im done now...I think lol
