Thanks Kevin and again, outstanding display of 2 wheel excellence. However, you should really stop posting photos of those SL wheels. Its painful that I do not have a set of those and you are not helping LOL. I did buy up a lot of SL parts (engine parts, chassis pieces) from Tamburini and they do have a set of new SL wheels (not officially for sale) but I do have to have them after again seeing these photos. I just cant get excited about the BST OTC versions. A bit off topic but Kevin's bikes are exceptional. The bikes that he does modify are done extremely tastefully and with function being foremost. Also note the side tire wear? No garage queens here. A class act for sure.

HAHA! Thanks man. Appreciate the kind words brother. Means a lot coming from you.

Yeah the SL wheels are nice. I think they suit the R well. I found they weren't easy to source without providing a VIN for the SL. I happened to find these in Italy from a local dealer that had 3 sets. I jumped on them but they weren't cheap.

Aesthetically I prefer them as well to the BST wheels. The kink in the spokes I couldn't get over. The silver plate that holds the bolts is also a nice contrast to the dark carbon whereas I believe the BST's are all black. I'm not sure they're worth the 2.5x cost of the BST's but to each their own!

Hope you're getting some good seat time this summer!

WHAT?!!! Charlie that's unacceptable man! I thinking of heading to Thunderhill this weekend, but it's supposed to be 107 out there so having second thoughts.
Get out there man!!

107? I’d pass on that. I didn’t bother registering the streetbike till 3 weeks ago. Still haven’t ridden it. Once I got the trackbike IMU issues solved last year, I haven’t ridden again. Thunderhill last October was my last ride. The R has been sitting since. A little burnout I think plus this crappy year combined.
