Beautiful bikes man I love it! I’m surprised that you don’t have a 1290 Super Duke on that list. The v twin is amazing! I have a new Street Fighter on the way and I’m really hoping she has the grunt of my SD and more.

Thx man. I’ve been watching all the recent reviews on the 2020 Super Duke. It is tempting for sure. I’ve always liked that bike!

Yeah the2020 looks awesome! Mine is a 2016 loaded with the full Rottweiler treatment. I added the full air intake, volicity stacks, custom tune with the full AKR ti system and then last winter added the BST Rapid Tec rims. The wheels save 17 lbs alone. The I set the suspension out and had cartridges added and revalved the rear and damn is she a beast! I ordered the new V4 Street Fighter because I loved the V4 motor so much in my Speciale, I'm hoping they moved the torque curve real low like the SD is and if so she'll be a winner for sure.

Yeah the motor is amazing. So smooth and a .... ton of power. I love riding her at the track because it’s so much smoother than my 1299. So t get me wrong the 1299 is like an older muscle car... more raw whereas the V4 is much more refined. I like them both a lot and if they move the torque curve lower like it needs to be it will be a fantastic bike for sure!

With traction control and wheelie control dialed down on your V4 Panigale, does the bike like to wheelie?

my 1299 feels like it wants to rip my skin offunder full acceleration, is the V4 as brutally strong feeling?

I’m in love with the look of the 2020 models but haven’t had a chance to test drive yet

Hey folks. I've got the Streetfighter on order which I'm being told arrives in April which will be replacing the Monster R, so that will be leaving the stable at some point in the next couple of months. Amazing bike. Loves to wheelie and a complete hooligan. Currently has 4,500 miles. Termi, new tires, LED turn signals, Tail tidy, carbon rear hugger, heat shield and heel guards, heated grips and quickshifter. Listing for $13K which feels at the low end of market, but would sell here for less. ;). Up in the classified too if anyone's interested. cheers!

OH man!! I would confidently buy a bike from him. I wish I could.

It hits hard in the upper revs but down low my 1299 feel much more raw if that makes sense. the V4 is more refine. On the track I'm faster with the 4V but on the street the 1299 is a bit more fun IMO. But if they moved the torque lower in the engine curve it will be amazon on the Street fighter.

HA! Thanks my man. Yeah she's be a great bike. Tons of fun and an excellent commuter. Torque is addicting for sure.

I believe she's sold. Funds should arrive this week. Great guy who's a naked bike enthusiast on one of the other forums.

Looking forward to the streetfighter!

I just looked at every pic and read every post on this thread. Sooooooo awesome! Thank you! Keep the pics and posts coming

Nice! Thanks for the post. Glad you're enjoying the thread. I'm sure we'd all rather be out riding, but for me looking at bike porn is the next best thing (albeit a distant second).
Cheers!

Very nice. Brings me back to memories of walking into the Ducati dealer in the 1990's. Keep the rubber side down. :)

Funds arrived and she's shipping out today. Amazing bike for those of you considering one. Would definitely highly recommend. Hopefully the SF will be as good!
Congrats to the new owner. Take good care of her!

Well I decided to take a break from all forums (car and bike) for Lent so it feels great to be back. Missed you guys!
Here's the latest addition.
Full akra going on next week, but many of the parts were in. Need exhaust and rearsets.
150 miles on the clock at this point so still getting my bearings straight. The bike is insanely fast and capable. pulls really hard in all gears, is great and very planted in the corners, but is somehow plush and so comfy to ride. Feels down on torque vs the panigale v4S, but that might be due to the fact that it's not a wheelie machine. But just as fast! Front end even with wheelie control off doesn't want to come up unless provoked (although it wheelies fine in first and at around 55mph in second with a whack of the throttle). Wondering if the exhaust will change that. Feels very refined and instills a ton of confidence. Will be fun exploring her capabilities.

Man I thought the Streetfighter was supposed to be a wheelie, hooligan machine. What happened here?
