Congratulations on the 996R Kevin.
One mile! Wow!!!
Even after all these years the RC30 is still a great looking bike.

Weather in CA has sucked recently! We're usually spoiled too, but haven't been able to ride in weeks. Hope others are faring better.

In the meantime here's the latest new addition.

Charlie,
This it's the weapon of choice I'll be using to try and keep up with you next time you're out this way! :D

RSV4X. 10 bikes to commemorate 10 years of the RSV4.

That thing is 66 pounds lighter and 8hp more than the rsv4 1100 and might I add, even more beautiful lookin. That is a beast of a track weapon.

Will it be somethin to get used to with the gears, being that neutral is all the way down and not between 1st n 2nd?

I can only imagine how good that x is given how good the factory 1100 already is

Double,
It should be a beast on the track. I think I prefer the RSV4 Factory 1100 to the V4S. Will be interesting to compare the X to the V4R out there, but it definitely has the specs. The ANN (Aprilia No Neutral) set up will be interesting to try. Neutral is below first gear but you can only access it with the second lever by the standard clutch lever so there is no risk of ever accidently slipping into neutral. It looks pretty menacing in the flesh. Hard to capture in pics or even videos. I have a quick vid of the first start up which I'll try and post.

Holy ..... Where did you score that? Thought they had all been presold.

That is a sweet bike

Gnance,
It wasn't easy to secure but I called in a few favors. :D I think only two were delivered to the states. I believe Max Biaggi has one of the 10. Aprilia was trying to get him to come up for the delivery. That would have been cool but didn't happen.

Will be fun to find out. I totally agree with you on the factory 1100. It is rivals the V4R on track. Different but just as good!
