I couldn't pass this one up brother.

Serial Number 1. This was the very first NR for the road. (I think there were 3 bikes produced first that went to race teams). So she's a special one.

Not a Ducati, but it completes the Honda RC lineup and was the inspiration for the 916 design with the undertail exhaust and single sided swingarm.

Of course you couldn't!!!
That's one of those bikes I thought I'd never see.
Damned amazing!!!
So long ago and I recognized your teaser pic immediately, wow!!!

Well I wondered who ended up purchasing that NR after seeing it online and I had my suspicions it would have been you. Very, shall we say...Iconic????

When I saw Iconic in front of a storage unit with red doors, I knew you were up to something.
Congrats Kev. That's really a Special bike!

Thanks brother! When are you coming to visit so you can ride her?! :D

Got three of the honda's warmed up and on the road for a short run each.

Nothing like our duc's but fun none the less.

Hope everyone is getting in a ton of last minute riding before the weather turns!

No rc51 being added to the ever growing list? I know it's not anywhere near as special as the 30 or 45 but nonetheless it's a sexy lookin bike and another rc! Gray one of course....maybe even the nickey hayden sig model. Not the black models.

The RC30 was the prettiest of the bunch.
First real close up I saw if it was when Honda sent a couple to the shop I worked at for Two Brothers Racing to pick up. Later know as Erion Racing when Kevin Erion and his brother parted ways.

Charlie,
How did I not know you worked at Two Brothers Racing?! Nice man. Your love affair started early!

I was working at Whittier Honda Kawasaki. Kevin and his brother, Craig if I remember right, were Two Brothers Racing. They came and picked up the RC30's from us that Honda had sent for them.
Kevin made the custom brake lines for my Hawk GT cafe bike. This was all before the split from Kevin to start Erion Racing. His brother kept Two Brothers. Last saw Kevin in 2005 at Laguna Seca. He introduced me to Kenny Roberts then. Another awesome guy.

Thx man. She's a pretty bike. I never really appreciated the lines like the RC30 until recently but she is stunning in the flesh. Hard to capture in photos. The best way to describe how she rides is buttery smooth. The NR which was built in 1992 has noticeably more grunt than the 1990 RC30 and feels more akin to the rc45 of 1994 in terms of performance but the sound is unique with the oval pistons and 32 valves. And for me the riding position is just perfect. The 90's was the golden era for Honda sportbikes. Hard to see this trio being eclipsed by anything coming out of the factory these days.

Hayden was an 04 and the black/grey bikes were all 05 and 06. I had my SP1 RC51 for close to 10 years before my Panigale. Loved the thing. Way easier to ride than my Panigale. The RC didn't want to kill me everything I had her at full chat. lol

Guys,
I think it's time to start thinning out the herd a bit. Possibly to make room for others, but really just to thin the herd! All my bikes get ridden as much as possible and serviced religiously, but I was going through my service spreadsheet today (yes I need a friggin spreadsheet to keep track of everything! not just service, but mileage and dates last ridden) and realizing that this is becoming a full time job.

So here are some bikes that I'm considering letting go of. If any of these are of interest to anyone please let me know! I change my mind daily and sometimes hourly so best to catch me in my current moment of insanity. :D

I've sold bikes to several on this forum. All of my bikes are pristine and the few that aren't perfect, full disclosure is always provided.

Thanks Fellas!

Kevin
