Was at Laguna today. Ducati asked to display one of my bikes (998R). I'm assuming they are honoring the "916 Era" bikes for the Foggy bike that's being revealed tonight, but that's just a guess. Going on 2 decades they still look good!

Never had the 998R, but I had the last of the family. 998S Final Edition. Total love hate relationship. I called her my redheaded Italian supermodel ..... and she lived up to it. I swore I'd never buy another Ducati after I got rid of her. I'm so weak lol.

HAHA!!! I've been doing my best to watch my girlish figure. Salad and carb free diet. NOT!!!

Thanks for noticing 007 :D:D:D

I was hoping someone would get the meme lol.

Anytime, looking good, looking fast brother!
If you cant beat em at the track, beat em with a smile ;)

Hahah. Hope you're doing great!

Latest addition...

These were never my favorite, but they have definitely been growing on me and are incredible value right now. This one is a 2005 with 2K miles. It was local and best of all had the 57mm full termi exhaust, which is unobtanium these days and sounds great.

Had the dealer go through everything and give it the typical TLC - plugs, battery, belts, fluids, tires etc.

She filled a hole in the R lineup and and I'm looking forward to putting some miles on her.

Cheers fellas!!

Also, I may be looking to thin the herd a bit to make some more room.

As always I'll be selling below market to folks on this forum. If interested let me know.

One's I'm considering are the GSXR, Dragster RC and possibly the FE which has the $6K SL full system installed (but not pictured)

If you still have the fe aftervthe new year hit me up. I just got that rsv4 1100 so I'm on girlfriend probation until January lol.

The venerable 996R had been an elusive target for quite some time, but finally closed on a nice example. 225 miles on the clock. Took a decent amount of work to get her up to spec and ready to run, but she arrived earlier this week ready to go.

I think that checks the box on all the R's.

Should be interesting to compare this to the 998R, which I just adore. Hard to see it eclipsing that bike, but will be fun exploring.
