Wannabe????? If I wanted to purchase an SL then I would have from the start, but I cant have a bike for more than 5 minutes before I start modifying it. :D
Then why you have SL yoke? I think is R..

Please note I will have a few of these exhaust systems come the end of July 2017. With hardware, and carbon pieces.

Let me know if you want one.

But you can modify a SL2 also.. ;)
Real tasteful mods Pumpdad, but im old school and think your 1199 was better looking.

The clearance from exhaust to rear tire (from the picture) looks a little "snug" ?

Is the 1299SL the same ?

Awesome job. Damn I have a Ti spring, maybe I'll hold off on installing it, don t want my R to be called a wannabe!

It's not a bad deal on cold days. You get a tire warmer and oil pre-heat in one package. The WSBK exhaust uses variable tubing diameter to tune the system. The pipes are also a different diameter all around. On one set I saw there was a valve system. The exhaust that ships with the 1299sl is a WSBK "looking" exhaust not the same setup. Done purposely of course by Ducati. It's a great system but from a performance perspective, do not expect some crazy power advantage over the Termi, Akra etc. If you are using a monster pipe system (WSBK Termi, SPF Storm etc) then you are already aware that you should be looking at system design which includes electronics, injectors, injector positioning and injector port orientation. Im playing with this little setup on bike II motor with a modified Storm system. If you want to look the part, and you like the way the system looks, buy it but its not going to change anything from a statistically significant perspective performance wise.

Yes the clearance is very tight, but iv gotta tighten the chain which will give me a little more space. Theres abit more of a gap with the 1299SL as the carbon swingarm is longer than stock (only by 10mm mind).
