I wonder if this is only an issue if you try to change the linkage from Flat to Progressive? Wish there was more specific info.
So I wonder what is really at fault. Is it the bolt that runs lateral to adjustment link to set it in place or is where the adjustment link physically attaches to the swingarm? I am curious as to what piece is really at fault.
35 bikes seems kind of low. I wonder if this is only an issue if you try to change the linkage from Flat to Progressive? Wish there was more specific info.
To change from F to P you need to adjust Rose/Hiem joint out
the thread binds up without lube, i used Inox but wd or anything would do, and just work it back an forth dont just keep turning out or the swarf from thead will bind up, i used air and blew small amont of swarf out
* you must take pinch bolt out first, if you try and run hiem out you will damage thread
pic att shows 2 grooves for pinch bolt to go through
going from F-P you must wind this out
* P is so much better for the general street riding, even on tight winding roads, went through reefton spur no problem
I had mine set to p from the get go. I am having issues when accelerating hard in second and third i start to get a wobble to the point where i have to back off. This happens once i get to triple digit speeds. Im going to get my suspension set up at my race shop on friday. hopefully that will fix it. Otherwise it may be the recall issue.
